He is a power play specialist and that’s all. You’d be okay with Buffalo paying him 5 million+ to score 19 goals on the powerplay, even though he’s a 4th or 5th defenseman? ---

On a side note, they are playing the best of Shredd and Ragan from a while ago and they are talking to Chris Drury. Pretty ironic. ---

The average is 6.5, so he doesn’t account for quite that amount. ---

[/quote] souray is a big guy, good in the corners, just lacks that one on one defensive ability… and Huet didn’t have the ability miller did to stop that threat. The sabres key problem last year was the PP, I think they spark that… they can be much much more effective when it matters (the playoffs) ---

Taking it to extremes for example, based on what you are saying, you can pay someone to come play for you and pay them the first year 50 mil and 1 mil the next 9 years and it would only count for 5.9 mil a year on your salary cap? ---
