Yea i wouldnt doubt it if we played biron tomm, and i think itd be a good idea because it was some what of a hard night for miller.Also biron has the only win against the senators this season. I hope we can be creative tomm and throw some good shit at emery.As much as i hate him and the senators he can goaltend extremly well and is a quick moving goalie.

Miller finally gets a win, and you want Biron to start? Miller has only played 4 games in a row…not very many at all. I think he should get the start.

Nah im not sayin he shouldnt get the start but tonight obviously wasnt an easy win for him and hes not gonna be 100% ,he just hasnt been lately ,hes worn out.

it would be understandable for lindy to play biron after a full game for miller tonight. lindy seems to let it be known that miller is his #1, and when he plays biron its not a shot against miller

idk if anyone has been keeping up with the connolly situation, but the buffalo news said he’s almost in full practice mode with the team, skating/shooting/passing with the guys, and his stickwork is said to be at the level it was when he went out last season. i see him playing in early/mid march.

last the reported (about a week ago) is that hes about 6-8 weeks out, so probably more towards end of march…slide him in for the last few games and see how he looks :tup:

well that opens an issue. will his salary account to our upcoming salary cap? if he comes in before the playoffs, yes. and we need to make some moves. but, if is back in time for playoffs, we dont want him to go in cold after a year. but we need some cap space. rochester maybe?

no, on my last check, if he plays we’re fucked as far as cap goes

edit: id personally prefer him NOT to play this season…unless he comes in and fucking unloads like 10 goals in 3 games…no point in upsetting the chemistry that late in the season for a guy whos brain is pretty much mush at this point…everyone will be gunning for him again…

if he plays when they’re expecting him back, which is with like 6 weeks left, then we have like 50k of cap space this season. if he doesn’t play until playoffs, we have his whole salary to work with as far as a rental player goes.

i think we’re at or under 50K now, which doesn’t include paying players like paille and paetsch by the game
which is also the reason peters isnt dressing anymore
unless connoly doesnt play until playoffs, buffalo is going to pretty much HAVE to move someone at the deadline…
