VSHD \> MSG. Man it was nice being able to see everything. I didn’t think the announcers were that bad tonight. Way better than those asshats on NBC. Not Rick and Jim, but I’d much rather have the 5.1 dolby digital than AM radio.
And yeah, dear Rangers coach… Good plan throwing rocks at the sleeping giant before game 1. You going to take a page from the Nolan crying game book and talk about how the refs are out to get you?

i got 5.1 with rick and jim but i am on the famly computer and it is not in my room so i don’t get to listen to them. so pulled out a radio that we used from oct 13 and that was my dad’s old one and that works

i really wish time warner would pick up VSHD… fuck its lame having to watch standard def and not listen to rick and jim

They don’t even record their broadcast in dolby, so just having a 5.1 soundcard doesn’t mean you’re listening to it in 5.1.

:picard: you guys just dont get it. im not comparing the Leafs to the Sabres. for weeks now its been public knowledge that the Leafs didnt make the playoffs. +1 to the Sabres for making the playoffs. hip hip hooray! Cant wait till round 3 when they actually play a hockey team, not a bunch of losers wearing a NY (islander or Ranger) jersey. that being said, i dont want to ruin this thread so let it die.

the rangers are a good team. you really cant say otherwise. the teams left in the playoffs are there for a reason. Atlanta fell off in the later portion of the season, but they were definitly one of the top teams in the league all season. NY held them to what… 3 goals? 4? Lunquvist (spl? dont care lol) was killer. Im glad we set the tone last night. we needed to come out the aggressors. It was a huge win

Versus does suck. And the times I see poor picture on MSG, it’s in an old arena with poor lighting. I don’t have problems with Sabres home game picture on MSG.
