Damn this is the best Ive seen us play in quite a while. Defense looks a lil sketchy but atleast ottawa hasnt had the puck for a continuous amount of time. Hopefully we will play another 2 full periods and draw first blood. Itd be a shame if we lose this one.

We just got sooooooooo shafted by the NHL it wasn’t even funny.
Mair just got his ass handed to him 2x. TWO SEPERATE INTEREFERENCE that were painully obvious, and neither even get a second look, and then what, 30 seconds later Ottawa scores.

Miller did all he could. He stays back in the net on the line, and Alfredsson puts that home himself.
It was a 2 on 1 with 2 of Ottawas best players. That’s a gimme-goal.

Both miller and the defensemen , i dont know if it was tallinder or not could have done more that that , the announcers even said they both froze.That and the fact that lydman gave the puck away in ottawas zone.

Lydman jumped in the offensive zone exactly as he should. Miller froze because Alfredsson put a hell of a fake shot on before that pass, which also brought Tallinder down to attempt to shot block.
It was a damn nice play by the Ottawa rush.
