I am not concerned with their stats/shooters in the least…he made a very good shot my concern is with having vanek as our 3rd choice for SOs again it may be the case that he does very well in practice ---

after the game when everyone was watching the sabres start to file off the ice…and they turned around and raised their sticks to the crowd…gave me chills. i seriously got goose bumps. they played well last night, but it did seem to be sub-par for what we have been skating so far this season. the goals against miller we so close to being saves it is silly. but thats the way it goes. it was a close game. we had a great first period but were forcing too much through the second and third. and for it to come down to one shot ona shootout is ball breaking but…if we lose 1 game for every 10 we win the rest of the season, i will paint my penis blue and gold ---

I had a feeling we were going to lose in the shootout once it got that far. Lehtonen is really good when he is only facing one shot. His weakness is the huge rebounds he gives up. OfficerK, I can see why you think that they outplayed us. Atlanta did a hell of a job with the trap. But we still had at least two shots I can remember off posts during regulation and I don’t know how many rebounds that we just didn’t knock in. Great job of being patient by Atlanta. Definitely took what we gave them. And thats exactly all it was. We beat ourselves with the sloppy passing and turnovers. ---

Sabres box office says there are ONLY 30,000 tickets left unsold for the rest of the season. That is unbelievable. I am so glad I bought seasons. Money well spent!! ---
