The sabres out played them. We just gave up a few bad chances and you can’t do that against a team like Atlanta. The first period the sabres played ok, but the second was ours and so was the third. Puck didn’t fall our way. I’ve never seen so many shots, just find a way to avoid the net. I’ll give atlanta a lot of credit for keeping their sticks in the lane and blocking lots of shots. Without that we would have beat them. Atlanta was on their heals from our last goal on and we prob would have won if it wasn’t to be settled with a shootout.
