yea this isn’t good… but i heard that wgr saying he will be there…i just hope its true. But no matter how sick he is…mckee is one of those players that will play no matter what here’s what they say so far… McKee Status Questionable For Game 7 WGR Newsroom - Wednesday, May 31, 2006 - 11:05 PM Paul Hamilton arrived in Raleigh Wednesday night and immediately went to work on the hot rumor about Sabres defenseman Jay McKee. Our Sabres beat reporter found out that he was not with the team Wednesday night in Carolina. Sabres team spokesman Mike Gilbert said he is “sick, but it is possible that he can come join the team for game 7.” ---

I think he will be playing tonight. Mckee is that guy who will play through basically ANYTHING to make sure that his team is the best it can be. I’m keeping optimism either way. I think this team will pull it together,a nd find a way to make it no matter what happens. ---

A guy I work with said his wife works in the hospital and she and the Doctor she works for got an emergency call last night for an important patient, that patient was Jay McKee. His wife told him that McKee has a pretty bad infection in his leg. They gave him treatment late last night, but are still unsure if he will be able to play on it. And now I’m pissed. ---
