Buffalo’s slogan has always been “Maybe next season.” But you know what? Maybe it will be next season because it will be very similar to this year. And by the way, 3 months and its NHL pre-season!!!
Getting far in playoffs = shorter off-season :tup:

fitzpatrick is the god awful worst defensemen on our team who contributed nothing the entire season/post season…even lydman who i despise improved vastly…but not fitzpatrick. he was on the ice for 3 of the 4 goals last night, and he was at DIRECT FAULT for numbers 2 and 3…
paetsch was fucking sweet…why the fuck hasn’t he been playing more with us…shit even janik and jillson played “well”
but fitzpatrick has to go…like yesterday…
btw, sabres need to sign havlat during the offseason…that would be a fucking slick pickup since he’ll be a free agent next season…

The thing I’ve notcied with Fitzpatrick… he is sooo slow. And when he amkes a mistake, he is severely victimized for it as he cannot get back in the play.

I saw the play… I know it was somewhat a Edmonton players fault. But it seems that Carolina wins when your star players gets hurt.

Don’t remind me…
All I can say is that if Carolina wins, I will not acknowledge that the Cup was won by anyone this year.
And I retract any statements I’ve made in the past about Hasek and his horseshoe… Cam Ward has the world’s BIGGEST horseshoe shoved up his ass… there were atleast 2 shots from Edmonton that were goals that he somehow stopped. But Pronger showed everyone how to score on him… stickside, just off the ice. I don’t know how many times I screamed that during the Carolina/Buffalo series… ask 2TurboZ!
I might have to borrow a page out of F Dot’s book and pickup a Carolina jersey in hopes that wearing it will make them loose.

Its heartbreaking to think that we were that close, and lost due to bad luck…
Regier has said they are going to try their hardest to keep the core players (which is a majority of them). We’ll have to wait and see what happens next season.

yeah, i never thought the sabres would run into problems with injuries given their depth. Sucks that had to happen. We would be taking the cup.
Great year for the sabres though, loved watching them.
