Teams that play as well as buffalo do not fall into a slump and never break out of it. They come out of it playing just as good as before if not stronger. This is the best time for it to happen too. With hecht out during the losses we’ve been having, its only going to make the other D step it up a bit. Which is especially good right before the playoffs start. ---

being in a slump is being in a slump we’re playing like shit, period. the defense is showing game in and game out lately that they CAN’T step up to replace the missing. i really think its going to get worse… ---

Tallinder definitly sucks monkey balls, I really hope he isn’t a Sabre next year. Our defense is definitly patchy at best, the team’s biggest fault. Thankfully the play of Miller has been able to cover up for the fact. If they dont come out strong near the last 5 games I don’t think they will make it out of the first round. ---

i like tallinder. im kinda skeptical about the way afinogenov is playing right now. ive noticed he’s turned into kind of a puck hog, and turns the puck over a decent amount of times ---

ive found myself yelling at tallinder almost as much as at lydman as far as afinogenov…hes always been criticized as a selfish player…they even noted he didnt make the roster his first season because of it…he was doing much better during the early part of the season but is starting to falter of late b/c ruff has been mixing the lines…there should be a clause where only roy afinogenov and vanek can play together… ---
