yeah I saw that car, not bad for the money
Since I have extra money to spend though I want to find something pretty decent and lower mileage
Most of the problem is all the cars are on the other side of the country

my opinion is simple: FOR ONCE GET WHAT YOU WANT. Quit dicking around with buying something you “might” like or don’t wanna mod because it’s “special”. you’re never going to be happy with coulda woulda or shoulda.

the problem is I shouldnt have sold my Formula to choko
I havent found another like it in the past 9 months
If he hadnt blown it up/sold it half way through completion I would bug him to sell it back to me and be done with it…
I am going to get something modded this time after hitting the track and seeing some fast cars run it reminded me where my heart is…
The thing is I am not particular wether its a Camaro or a TA or whatever
Basically I am looking for-
1- decent size cam
2- big stall
3- mods done right and not a ton of miles on the mods or the car
4- reasonably clean body and paint
5- reasonably close to NY or someone who will deliver cheaply
so yeah thats where I am at
hindsights a great thing

2000 heads cam ss camaro. 6 speed all cartek head and cam package moser 12 bolt with 410’s fast intake qtp long tubes texas true dual exhaust etc etc. car has gone 11.9 at 121 with a soft launch. made 428whp looking for 16 obo with 33k

Whatever you buy is going to lose value like woah…modded F-bodys H/C and whatever don’t hold their value…

I dont give a shit about it holding value really
Not so much I want a perfect car, just not something that was owned by a 18yr old who beat the shit out of it (no offense to anyone on here)

Do you realize people mod cars to beat the shit out of them…
People don’t throw slicks/skinnys on a car and a heads/cam setup to park it in their driveway…
I can also tell you this most people who do heads/cams setups are on some sort of budget and race the car…If you wanted some sort of highly modded car that was parked go find some Vette owner who threw a blower on the car and parked it…

nah I know what your saying man, I know modded cars are run hard, I guess what I am saying is I want a car that dosent have 15,000+ miles on the mods and has been daily driven
People do mod their cars and then get bored with them or hit hard times before the car has been whooped

umm anything modded probably had the shit kicked out of it… My car prob was beaten on by the old owner, but not for too long as the mods were less than 6 months old (dates on recipts) I bought the car as a platform to work on for eventual bigger plans. You have a nice solid Ws6 now, why not just mod that to your liking?

Cars like these (Mustangs, Camaros, TA’s, etc.) can take the abuse if built properly. My car has 10+ years on it and still takes it like a champ. Find a car that has been properly maintained and don’t worry about the mileage.
