We see it every year - people in ditches or just doing dumb things on the road in the snow. We haven’t had a snow event yet in the North East but it’s coming… I’m sure we’ll see our fair share. I love at 4:45 you see the Saab with a snowboarding roof rack and most likely snow tires, just going down like, “fucking noobs” I love being from Buffalo because I know I can destroy people in snow, with or without dedicated snow tires. ---

AWD/4WD + snow tires = total domination. AWD/4WD + all-seasons = pretty decent. AWD/4WD + summer tires = “what? do you autoX?” FWD = gay, no matter what. RWD + anything = HUGE smile on your face. ---

Impatient Suburban tried to pass us last night on the shoulder. It was on bald tires. It sunk to its frame. Dumbass. We bailed to give him a scare like nobody was gunna help him, but then returned to yank him out. Here’s a vid of the first unsuccessfull attempt. If newman wasn’t there with his shovel, there was no way it was getting out, that STi is pulling on an extremely packed down, icy surface. I’m sure Ian’s got better pics.
