Gas jobs just don’t cut the mustard when it comes to weight. If you’re going to put chrome 22"s n shit on your truck and maybe haul a sheet of plywood or a garden trailer go get a 1/2 ton gasser. Hell, I had a 2wd 4.3 silverado with 260k on it when I sold it and I was still pulling 18mpg out of it. Best cheap truck ever. IMHO, just because my measly Nissan is rated at 5k#, doesn’t mean I’m going to strap a car trailer or boat to it and tow safely on the highway. > > And SUPER MEGA +rep for mention of a C10 4bt.
