While many local versions ended in the late 1980s and early 1990s, nationally syndicated episodes of Romper Room and Friends with Miss Nancy stopped airing in 1994.

All that certainly has a lot to do with the build being presented in the thread doesn’t it. Granted, you weren’t bad. That’s why you only got one little infraction instead of some time off like a couple of other real winners in that thread. Don’t get so huffy.

#4 - We have guidelines for a reason. Why should someone have to sift through pages and pages of crap to find out if there is going to be a meet? That is why we have a designated meet thread. And now you have a designated chat room. 🙂
As for why I exist on an automotive forum, it’s purely a gloriously satisfying power trip that fulfills a desire for a self image of authority and respect that I am too weak to achieve in real life.

I doubt that this was directed specifically to you in any way. It was a generalization. It was a generalization against your southgate friends. You are the number 4 poster in that thread with 275 posts. I can bet that 85-90% of them do not have to do with discussing the meet but rather mindless bantering that should be conducted in offtopic somewhere like here.
