Im in IL for work right now. They also dont have a helmet law around here. I have seen a lot of guys riding around in shorts, sneakers or sandals and no hemlet. IMO you are just asking to die if you are riding like an asshat and without proper equipment. I have seen hundreds of motorcycle claims. Some are the motorcyclists fault for being a moron and others is because someone else took them out not paying attention. IMO, at least try and swing the odds of surviving in your favor by wearing proper equipment. ---

I have to agree, apparently this year it was the cool thing to do to buy a sportbike and ride like a kid in highschool in his moms new car Point in hand: two kids from my highschool recently bought bikes, they messaged me on facebook asking if I wanted to go riding to practice wheelies cuz they figured I do them 24/7… :picard: they’ve had their bikes \>3 weeks. Also, they bought those fucking mowhawks for their helmets…god I hate those ---

Sippin a coffee last night at tim hortons, i was lucky enough to see three guys on bikes, 2 of which had girls on the back, and one of them smart enough to try to pull a WHOOLIE with her on the back. She almost fell off. It’s ok though, once he regained control, he redlined through 3 gears. 130mph on southwester/abbott… I foresee a very high deathcount this year. edit I forgot to mention the guy i was following earlier in the day. He noticed me so it must’ve been time to show off. After a failed stoppie, he then proceeded to take a turn in an intersection too quickly and… put his foot out? clearly we were on a motocross track. I cut down a different street so he wouldn’t proceed to kill himself just trying to show off to another person on a bike. anyway, i’m going out riding for a little bit before the rain hits… so if anyone happens to see a black r6s with me driving it, do not feel compelled to ride a wheelie past me, fuck up a stoppie, ride side saddle, or whatever else is apparently wickedly cool to do; i will not be impressed and will probably talk about “the stupid fucktard that thought he was being cool” later on, as most people do. ---

I would have zero remorse if a biker was assclowning in front of me and my 5000lb suv and I ran them over after their FAIL. Sure the vision might haunt me in my sleep but I would feel no sympathy. And please bring your bikes to bars and drink for 3 hours then hop on your bikes…throw sweet revs and take off missing 2 gears at WOT. GO AWAY.
