well that usually means your fuel selector is plugged up… But even if it’s plugged up a little bit that would cause low fuel delivery to the engine and on top of having those screens not cleaned that would cause what your talking about. I would take the fuel selector valve off and clean it and blow air thru it first before you pull a carb off.

Sounds like my issue last year Joe. Mine turned out to be a bad kill switch - the tether switch kept thinking I was being thrown off the ski, lol. Check the fuel lines first and that selector again to see if it’s opening fully.
Anyone interested in going out today? I’m definitely going out with a standup guy. Small craft advisory, 5 foot waves :tup:

Sorry dude, I was already out there this afternoon…saw Solitude out there…awesome dude…witnessed my wife and I make fools of ourselves, as she was unable to get on the machine without tipping it over…it really is not meant for 2 people, unfortunately…
Regardless, I had the same issue occur again from the other day…I rode on the reserve setting the whole time today…got to figure this out…

do what I did on my old Yamaha, eliminate the selector all together, access your tank, get a union fitting, and join the res/norm fuel lines together and run that line directly to the carbs. All the res did on my Yamaha was just a longer pick up tube in the tank.

It happens quite often to older skis tbh. The o rings go bad from the ethanol and swell in the vlave from sitting so your getting a restriction in the valve it self. You can either bypass it or get a new valve. My vote is to bypass! It has been found to even cause the motors to run lean when it starts to become restrictive.

Great, thanks for the info., man. I’ll pull the valve off this w/e and see how it looks…they are on eBay for $15-20 shipped all day, so I will go that route if mine is bad…I like keeping things to a more factory spec. the older I get…less to remember down the road, ha…
