Not that this helps at all, but on my old Honda CB the original petcock had a shitload of rust particles and crap in it from the tank. It took me cleaning out the fuel tank and coating it, while also getting a new petcock to fix the issue. That thing was a mess and would starve often. Flipping to reserve would help.

I’ve been too busy to post today or else I probably would have gone out today as well. Hope you guys enjoyed it!
Yesterday was amazing. Bigger waves than the last time I was out and talking about the wave size… Pics will speak for themselves!
… way too much air to land, so I just threw the ski away from me as I was coming down. So much fun :tup:

Initially went out around 3. My boat and waverunner, Josh and Ryan on theirs. Was out for about an hour. My waverunner dies. Chop is pretty heavy, but not horrible. Tow it back to the marina, tie it up, head back out. Start motoring East about 11mph, giving the guys a great wake. Ryan’s starts taking on water. Tow it back to the Tuscorora ramp. Back out for the 3rd time, and the chop is rougher. Hammer out about 30mph. Man, what a ride. Got good and tossed around, but my passengers had a blast. Went about 2 miles out and just drifted, but we were getting good and shook, so came back in for the last time. Was backing into my slip, thought I clicked fully into neutral, went to the back of the boat to tie up, but felt the boat still moving back under power, tried to use my left foot to soften the impact (was just coming back at idle speed, so not stupid fast), and caught my heel between the swim platform and the dock. Tore open about a 1" diameter flap of skin. Instant gusher. Got my kit, patched it up, but man is there a massive bruise now.

lol, this is somewhat true. I gave up hats in middle school because my mom told me my grandfather was bald because he always wore hats!
I do need to get a helmet. And some sort of goggles because the sunglasses just don’t cut it in huge waves.
Thanks @bracketracer for your help & pics! Ryan’s ski works just fine despite water getting into the cylinders :tup:

Glad to help. Went back out again after dropping Ryan and ski off. Chop actually got rougher. We did hammer out pretty hard this time, and everybody got bounced around well. That was fun, but we could only drift around for about a half hour before we had enough.
