# Oh to be young again.

I took a call 2 summers ago in the park across from buffalo mercy (forget what its called). 14yo girl was found along the treeline unresponsive by a group of kids. She was so intoxicated, I intubated her on the way to children’s without sedation. I can not imagine being so drunk that i lose my gag reflex. I see shit like this all the time, but its usually college kids (UB/Buf state freshman on the first week of school).

I find it insane, how far people are willing to go just to try and “fit in” or be “cool”. Getting wasted and barfing all over, never understood the appeal or how it made you “cool”.  
I mean to each his own of course, but to me getting wasted is a waste of time and probably brain cells as well.

I had my shitfaced episodes but now alcohol mostly makes me sleepy. I live to party.
