# oil change message

eveytime i start my 03 impala the change oil message comes on even though i change the oil .how do i get it to go out?

with the car in the on position but not running push the gas pedal to the floor 3 times with in 5 sec

if that doesn’t work it will have to be reset thru the radio it will tell you step by step in your owner’s manual

might have to press and hold the “reset” button in the fuse box also… owners manual will tell you.

this is the correct way for the impalas. hold the “tune” button with the key on radio off. look in owners manual from there

thanks guys got it. now can i buy a different cd player other than stock or am i stuck with this one? i would like cd player with a dvd player and screen.

you can buy a different one, but in my dads impala, the gas pedal method doesnt work, we tried it for like 5 minutes one day, and nothing
