# oil check

what kind of oil should i put in my sr20  
because mine right now makes some weird sounds and sounds like poo  
sounds like lifters, but i thought about it, and remembered that theres shitty recycled oil in my car right now, what numbers (ex. 5w-30) do i put in my car?  
and what type of oil filter?

go and get a nissan oem oil filter, it’s from a 91 sentra se-r, 2.0 litre

i use 10w30

If it sounds like shit put some oil treatment into your engine on the next oil change. I would suggest half a bottle of lucas and use a sythetic oil. For the winter (if your are driving it) I would use 5w30 as it is thinner and it will help your lifters and valve springs get better oil circulation when its cold and the oil gums up a bit.
