steve, didnt i own one of your holmes? i think i raced it at the x-mas classic. there is a ton more frames i had. tnt hwafongdaddy, couple mongooses, and i cant think of any others. never owned a redline. i allways wanted a robinson for some reason when i was younger. then i wanted an auburn. as luck would have it, my parents divorced that year and my dad bought it for me trying to suck up. i raced it in aba at mamouth. then i met habs and punjab, and was mostly on a s&m holmes riding trails. got rid of the S&M for a standard because moleterino gave me one in baby blue. Rick was always bustin my balls about riding an s&m, i told him i’d ride a standard if he gave me a baby blue one. next thing i know, i got a baby blue sta. Nice bike, but the holmes felt more comfortable to ride. ---

Your tan colored Holmes was mine at one point, which you sold to Travis… I was in the same boat as you when I was young, that Green/Silver Auburn that Wes had was the pimpiest frame I’d ever seen…that and BMXPlus rated it the dream frame every year…funny how you have to get a bit older to realize how blindly we took advertising back then ---

Are you talking about the half chromo half aluminum auburn? That originally came as a purple front triangle? I had some kid square up a turn on me at the Christmas Classic on a Huffy carbon fiber. T-bone from a chromo frame put that one in the grave. hahaha. The Christmas Classic that I helped Sailor pick glass out of his scalp. ---

I’m bumping this… Guys, I am looking for an old school bike. GT Performer/Vertgo, Haro Master/Sport something along those lines with the funky bent downtube and laid back seat. It don’t really matter what condition or if it’s complete. Also would like to get the mags/skyways. If you guys have some shit laying around you wanna part with let me know! ---
