I thought the flag was backwards on military or other uniforms because we are at war. Is that false? And Bush is a fucking idiot.

Ok here is the military flag story. Imagine a flag on a pole, if you ran towards the enemy, the stripes would always trail the stars. The flag on the US service members uniform is presented so that we are always running into the fight. It happens to be on the left side, so it looks “backwards”. In reality, there is no front or back to a flag, its just we are used to seeing it one way, so we assume that is the “right” way.

seriously. i despise bush. however, I don’t think this is in any way wrong… it’s a flag.
