scary thread. Been looking to get my first motorcycle, and have been looking at Ninja 250s… but this thread makes me want to stick to dirtbiking on trails instead. ---

I enjoy being on a bike. and think its worth the risk but everyone has to make that choice for themselves and also respect the bike and the trouble it can get you in. ---

Take the MSF course and ride with people that have experience that don’t ride like an idiots. I thought I read somewhere that Ride For Pride is no longer doing the MSF but I could be wrong. Look it up, you get your license at the end. Putting around the island will likely last an hour, if that. Everyone will tell you that you should’ve gotten a 600, but starting on a 250 is never a bad idea. ---
