true but they have to add a supercharger to do that being they cant beat any fbody with an NA motor.

2003/2004 mach 1 ran side by side with em
now to play devil’s advocate, and this pains me to say this. GM can’t beat Dodge without adding a supercharger either
2008 Viper 600hp
2009 Corvette “Bluedevil/SS/Stingray” had to go the SC route

talk to Steel City and he’ll tell you how hard it is to get a GT close to an LS1. not worth the money. take that money and buy a cobra

The only wat a GT will hang with a LS1 for a little $$$ is NOS…which is pretty pathetic. The Mach 1’s are known to run decent but most times are a click or two behind 01-02 f-buckets…but overall you could argue it is a driver’s race. But like I said b4 GM didnt make f-buckets in 03 so it isnt exactly fair to compare.

boy, I love Pittspeed…
- guys who have never owned fast cars know all about them…
- guys think a mustang is a “nice” car as opposed to an Fbody - like saying it is a better built/higher end car
- a supercharger does not add torque
- pushrods hurt emissions
Man this thread is just teaching me all sorts of stuff :hahano:
