seen that before…i once drove a beat 86 rabbit(which has the same reverse near first gear patern) “in 1st” down a large hill, with the clutch out and stepping on gas the whole way, and got to the stop sig nat the bottom, clutch in, left it in “1st” and proceeded to clutch out gas/ go backwards…im prety sure i went the whole way down the hill, moving forward in reverse. man that car was a POS, i then ended its life about a week later in a creek, by ghostriding it off a large grassy knoll…the gears shot, i bought it for 100$ and it lasted me 3 months…fun car tho, i also ramped it about a foot off the ground and ripped the entire exhaust off in one swift maneuver
