Thanks Ilya, I was torn between this lens, the 100 f2.8 IS MACRO, or both the 28 f1.8 and the 85 f1.8. I decided on the 24-70 since I had a gap in lens coverage, not to mention B and H was offering free shipping and $120 off instantly and I had a few hundred dollars in gift cards to use. Nice shot! The snow flurries recently make for some nice photos. Im on my second 24-70 after I busted my first one, definitely a useful walk around lens. ---

I can see it happening like it were some slapstick comedy. But it’s not funny because I know it was an expensive oops.
