# Ooh look at me! v."Trash The Dress"

So a trash the dress photoshoot is a post-wedding shoot where the bride puts her dress back on, the groom gets dolled up a bit, and they take all the crazy fun shots that they couldn’t on the wedding day because of wanting to keep the dress nice. The dress gets trashed rather than cleaned for hundreds of dollars just to sit in a box for 30 years.
It’s gaining popularity in other parts of the country, but has never been done in Buffalo… Till now. My wife wanted to do it for fun, and our photographer Fisher Creative Image (official photographer of the Buffalo Jills, lucky bastard) wanted to do it as a promo thing since they’d be the only wedding photographer in Buffalo with these pics.
I really like how the pics came out so I thought I’d share a few. So without further ado:

I just got married and my wifes dress cost 2K+. I dont think she will be trashing it anytime soon. I would love to trash my tux from After Hours.

i have never heard that before.
i would ruin a dress with cool pics and a fun afternoon over baby puke and shit
then again, im a cowboy. we get married in our boots, and our wives wear a dress made from a confederate flag.

Now she’s donating the dress to Brides Against Breast Cancer, where they will clean it and sell it if possible. If not, they cut the dress up, dye the silk, and make a quilt out of it. Tax writeoff for us so financially it’ll probably be the same as if she were to sell it.
