yea its happened before … they were taking their time until i notified them that someone was gonna be hurting bad if someone didn’t get there fast

My guess would be he is still a student… He said it started as an internship…

You can still take the test. Some test allow you to take it at 19, get your appointment at 20, and accept the job at 21.
You can also get a your processing deferred for education purposes in some departments.
Whatever the case may be, a smart person who wants any LE job in the north east, will accept the position, start it and then go back to finish his education. The average hiring process takes 12-18 months to get through and this area is saturated with candidates to begin with. Get through the academy asap and transfer if you are looking for somewhere specific.

404 intelligence not found.
There are some good and bad departments, most of the departments here are great in comparison to the rest of the country. Try going south where all you need to have a badge and a gun is a G.E.D.
Watch that new reality show called “Rookies” or something like that. You will cry over the stupidity that they capture on camera.
