Man, I’ll tell ya… I was all about firefox until I started messing around with opera. Just thought I’d give those the heads up that have never used it before.

so… instead of just saying OMG OPERA FTW how about some info on it … why its better?
I know the differences… but its not my thread and I still prefer FF to Opera

Fraud protection, zoom function, widgets, tab thumbnails, fastforward/rewind buttons, trashcan for accidental tab closing (so to recover it), session saves so you can pick back up on something later, format styles, skin choices, voice operated web browsing (pretty damn accurate actually), “fit to window” option, and I like that the sub windows all stay contained in the main window. Found it very useful in a few situations already.
I’ve been using it on and off for a while now, but didnt even know about half these functions until a few days ago… I’m never looking back

i used Opera awhile back but never really liked it… dunno why.
In the newest version of Firefox I love how if you dump the program it’ll recreate your previous session where you left off.

I too prefer Opera. I just like the navigatability of it more than Firefox.
Personal preference.
