I have a Optima Red Top 75/25 that was in my car when I bought it. It is a mid 2012 model. My car has been sitting for close to two years with the battery on the shelf. I trickled it and it takes a full charge, but it’s showing 450CCA, a bit lower than the advertised 720CCA. The battery has never given me issues - I’m not sure why the loss of CCA, but I’m reading that AGM batteries can fully back to life if left on a trickle (I’m not guaranteeing this. I’d continue to use it, but it won’t fit in my new battery setup. Regardless, I’m seeing these as low as $145 shipped new. I’m asking $45, picked up in Elma.
