# Ordering an engine help

Hey everybody. I need to order an engine for my 300ZX. I’m replacing the NA with a TT and i’m not sure which company to use. I’ve ordered an NA engine previously and the timing was out and bad water pump…I really would like to know if anyone has any suggestions on any Canadian companies that they’ve had good luck with or have heard good things about. Any responses would be appreciated. Thanks

Most people would suggest against it, but I’ve purchased a good twin turbo front clip from my 300ZX from Tiger Japanese, to convert it from NA to TT in the past. I recently bought a used transmission from them as well. I’ll let you know how it is when I put it to use, but so far I’d recommend them.

If you do end up getting a front clip could you let me know. I’m looking for a few RHD specific bits that you won’t be able to use.

hi. tiger japanies and total japanies are the 2 best places i know.
total japanies store is located in midland and midwest
main intersection is midland and lawrence.

these guys r who i used to buy my 300 and they had everything jdm there from front clips, lip kits, panels, doors, transmissions or even full engines w/turbo or NA for all of the makes they carry. they have a car lot across the street full of rhd cars and then at the warehouse theres more parts for newer north american models and japan model cars. anyway check them out they normally have good deals and will bargain in person.

but unless u where tinkin bout doin the old skylineswap they have a few more of them then the 300 setup but IMO id stick with the VG30DETT engine to many ppl make that swap but why?? id stick with bigger engine and twin turbo rather then down size engine and single turbo plus the VG30 block is built to take up to 1000hp. (if u have the JDM built one, because overseas they use higher grade metals)
