A lot of the chemicals and preservatives currently in our food supply have only been in foods for a few decades and there are no long-term studies of their effects. Natural ingredients have been used for centuries, and seem to be pretty safe.

I feel the same way. I am not going to start spending 100 more dollars a month on my groceries just so that I can be trendy and each Kashi and go 100% organic, but all of these chemicals can’t be good for our bodies. I am just trying to take care of my body. One of the reasons that so many people get ill is because of the things we put into our bodies. People are developing diabeties and cancer at alarming rates and if I can change my diet to possibly prevent these things then I will. Call me a hippie or a homo if you want, but when you are 40 and have prostate cancer and I don’t, you can call me all the names you want.
