Big Papi will be the MVP, yes i’m a Bosox fan, but it is an unbiased opinion. What does MVP mean? Most Valuable Player. Regardless of Batting Avg, Ortiz has been more clutch, has hit more walk-off homers, and more game winning hits than anybody in Baseball. A-Rod has accomplished some great things, but Papi is your MVP.

Yeah i feel Papi is the MVP. Howover, many will make the arguement that arod play every day and is a positional [player yada yada yada

I am a yankees fan for life.
i think Arod has forged his way into the heart of most yankees fans this year including myself. he has hit the shit out of the ball, and made some really clutch hits and plays in the field.
however, i think david ortiz has been so clutch for boston. by the way, did i mention i LOATHE the redsox? but i respect guys like ortiz, damon, and veritek…
in my opinion the redsox would be close to a .500 ballclub without ortiz… or at best not a playoff team…
that is why he deserves the mvp. he has carried that team to a whole new level. dont get me wrong, i love arod, and i think he has shown so much heart and fire this year, but ortiz deserves it.
i like it when you call me big PaPi!

I love the Yankees but I gotta give the nod to Ortiz. I remember back when he was playing for Minnisota barely able to crack a 300BA. Now he is MVP material.

i like the sox and am pulling for ortiz… but id just rather not see a yankme win it : )
what about in the NL? I like andruw jones to win it for the ATL

Fatass doesnt deserve it any more than arod, and like i said, fatty cant even play 1st base.

Who do you honestly think helped carry his team more than Papi? He has won more games, in more clutch situations than anyone else, shit this goes back to the massive choke job of the 04 ALCS

TWENTY of Ortiz’s homeruns have come in the 8 inning or later **AND** have either tied or won the game for his team.
Ortiz is unquestionably the MOST VALUABLE PLAYER to his repective team’s offense, way over ARod.
However, like it has been said, Ortiz does not play in the field everyday like A-Rod.
So it is up to the voters now
