# OT: XP Pro multiple activations

Not car related but it seems a lot of you guys are quite tech savy.
Long story short: I want to activate XP on my home desktop and laptop…how can it be done?

easiest way is just to get a pirate copy of XP for one of them, easier then trying to get around activation.

I haven’t tried it but I think it’d be a little hard since the windows activation applies an algorithm to some sum autogenerated by the hardware installed in your computer (like a hash code). They then register that SUM against your licence key and when it chages you have to re-activate.
One thing you can do is claim that your computer died and you replced it with a laptop and thus want to transfer your licence. Re-Activate via phone and blamo.

I’ve never even had to register any of my windows installs, then again none have ever been legal. I think it’s pretty easy to just DL it.

Just Download Windows XP Pro and Install it on as many computers as you’d like.
I have 4 pages of serial numbers if you’d like one PM me.
