I’m leavin for the outer banks in a few minutes here, I was just wondering if anyone had any input of stuff worth checking out while there…scenic stuff to restaurants…I’ve never been there before.

im leaving the 30th for about 2 weeks. me and the girl are staying in one of her aunt’s houses for free in collington harbor in kill devil hills
goombays is pretty good eatin.
theres really nothing much super exciting down there besides the senic views and lighthouses…
hatteras lighthouse is cool to climb like chopdrop said.
if you drive all the way down to hatteras you can get on a fairy and go over to an island where horses roam free and shit like that. (I think im being forced into doing that this year…)
Im pretty much goin down to relax and fish 😃
oh and check out the Jockeys ridge dunes! its wild… you feel like your in the middle of the desert

OBX is definately not a lively place like ocean city, but there is enough to do to keep you entertained. Mostly a nice place to just relax. Jockeys ridge is ok, but 15 years ago it was twice as high, was much cooler then.
Taking a small plane flight over the ocean to see all of the shipwrecks if pretty neat.

just got home, thanks for the input, unfortunately our house did not have internet as we planned so I wasn’t able to read any of this thread. It was a great time. even though there isnt much to do there, we had plenty of fun and even more relaxation

woot!! im burnt and been fishin almost everyday, now i’ve got the boat runnin too so i’ll be out on the sound alot more.
