# overheating issue \[grand prix GTP\]

ok i put a new intake on yesterday that run right to my grill. today going to my mothers i smelled something burning and when i got there i poped my hood and low and behold a bunch of either steam or smoke was comming from my fan area. i checked and i didn’t see anything melted or anything and also my engine temp gauge never got to high. so the only thing i could think of was maybe that the condensation i had all over my car this morning got into the engine bay as well and the water was the cause of the steam/smoke…
any ideas?

Your new intake isn’t getting in the way of the fan spinning is it?

negative intake is not touching the fan… intake is no place near the fan

coolant smells, you would be able to tell if it was coolant
