# overheating problem plz help

hey guys. i have a 95 coupe looking for some help on this one, the car is overheating on me and bad, weird part is is it only overheats under load i have replaced the thermostat and just put a new rad in it, when the car idles the temp stays at normal temp the, the car will drive for about 5 mins (if that) then it is red hot and the over flow bottle is boiling. no idea what is going on plz someone help me.

easy. blown head gasket or clogged rad.

just replaced the rad… litterally at noon today and the head gasket is not gone…

what motor? if u r sure the head gasket is fine then maybe replace the water pump, check the fan shroud and change to efans. get rid of any air first and check before going forward.

Figured it out… Tentioner for the waterpump and powersteering lost the nut to keep it in place aka no waterpump thanks for the help guys
