Does it = racer’s tape? Because I need some of the latter for this Friday. If not, does anyone have some extra “racer’s tape” i can borrow/buy? thx! ---

I just want to protect my bumper from debris at the track. Come to think of it, I definitely nailed a flock of birds last year too. ---

Painters tape ftw, it wont leave any goop and will peel pretty easily. ---

Painters tape won’t protect you from more than bugs but it does come off cleanly. I have real racer’s tape in stock if anyone wants in white or black. ---

What about… painters tape base coat with racers tape on top so the glue stuff doesn’t stick to the car afterwards…? ---

How about a base of painters tape with racers tape over that and then some drywall tape. Just for good measure some whitehouse congressional hearing tapes. Then some glue. ---
