I will, more than likely, paint my car this spring. I was toying with the idea of changing the color but I still have a little bit of an attachment to the factory Montego blue paint. I was also thinking about a lighter blue or going completly different and painting it Competition Yellow Mica (CYM). Any thoughts?? ---

keep it blue man, total color change and ur engine pay wont match and possibly other spots like door jams or trunk ---

Keep it Montego :tup: maybe add some pearl or something if you want to be slightly different. ---

fug that… CYM on fd’s is the hottest color. I hate all yellow cars, but for some reason that yellow on fd’s looks so friggin hot :tup: ---

My boy used to have the rust orange 350Z - imagine an FD in that color? ---

I guess another problem would be actually getting the factory paint or aftermarket paint matched to MB. I am leaning toward an MB repaint but i’ll see how i feel about it come May. ---

either montego with pearl or yellow mica both sound pretty pimp it all depends if you want a very similar color or something radically different. ---

Keep it the same color. You might not even need a repaint, maybe just a good buff. I can’t remember how your paint looked since the last time it was dark out… can you post pics of it durring the day? ---

I would keep the Montego Blue, but add a colored pearl or candy to it. There are some hot pearl coats out now. ---
