my friend Brian did this to his 97 eclipse. the MS currently controls the fuel and the stock ecm still controls the spark till the boost goes up higher than 5psi. to pass inspection he pops the stock injectors in and takes the spring out of his wastegate and hooks the EGR solenoid back up and it passes easily. you can hammer the car too and get 0 boost.
