so I was at metro down by grant mac, I was backing out, looking behind me and see nothing keep going and then a short beep and a crunch, my pathfinder has maybe a 2 inch minor dent on the back hatch, nothing that won’t cost much, but the sunfire or w/e it was didn’t fair so well, his mirror is toast and the fender and door are bent in as a result of the mirror pushing in…looks like ill be paying through the nose for his body work, on a good note Nissan stronger than GM :finga: ---

ahhh shitty man, body work is sooo expensive. you are probably going through insurance arnt u since it probably over 1000$ to fix… that really sux man. srry to hear. ---

hes gonna get some estimates and im gonna pay him cash, theres no way i could have seen him, i looked out my left mirror and he wasn’t there, then i looked behind me and backed out slowly, and he was too low and i couldn’t see the hood, he honked but it was too late lol, amazing what less than 5km/hr can do when you weigh 1500 pound more haha ---

I feel yer pain man… Mine was opposite tho… about 1.5 years ago when I had my 89 civic… I was in a parking lot, and I dinged a big ass suburban right in his running board… I had alil dent in my hood but the running board bent under and bent some shit up… The guy got the quotes and it ended up being 2400$… I woulda paid it now… but at the time I was going to school so I had to go through insurance :grrr so yea… I know how it feels… parking lots blow. ---

I just don’t know how he got that much car behind me, I almost seems like he didn’t see my backup lights, maybe he was looking for a spot, I know when im in a parking lot I always watching for people backing up, or backup if they start coming back, I might ask him what the hell happened and say ill pay 75% or something, still be cheaper than insurance for both of us, and ill pay for my own repairs. ---

New Info- So SHE calls me, turns out it was a chicks car, I asked her what happened and she said “you hit my car” “I honked for 30 seconds”…so I said w/e get some quotes, and call me back…then I realized a guy was driving the car, I call her back and ask who was driving…she said she was…I said that a guy was driving, she said something and then said ya a guy was…so I talk to the guy and find out what happened, he said they were leaving the parking lot and that I floated into him… I didn’t get their info last night because I was a bit flustered, I guess I should get her insurance info whenever I can, seems weird that she’d say she was driving ---

if it goes insurance they most likely will ding both of you as 50/50 claim. You hit she should of tried to avoid ,. She will say i honked for 30sec, you gonna say i had no damn music on and didn’t hear no honking and why would you honk instead of stopping etc. Than your adjusters will be 50/50 to each other and boom both cars fixed via insurance and double wammy on your next renewall. ---

unfortunatly, when your vehicle is in reverse you have no rights, your at fault. ---
