# Parting out suggestions

Not exactly the post I’d like to make on Christmas day, but I guess it needs to be done sooner than later.
On November 20, I was T-boned while makeing a left hand turn. Needless to say the, car is a complete write off, and I am currently trying to salvage what is left of it.
I had a buddy who was originally going to do the partout for me, but due to storage issues, he won’t be able to hold/store the car for me until he has space in his lot and is available to do the work.
However the collsion center that is holding my car at the moment, has offered to do the work as well as hold the car without additional storage fees for $500.
Basically, I wanted to take a look around to see what the standard fees would be to strip out the engine, tranny, suspension and exhaust.
I’ve called around to a couple local shops around the markham area, and they are looking for roughly 600~800 plus some places want to add an additional storage fee on top of everything.

The car is a hatch, manual
but i don’t really think that matters since the car is a write off…
Unless you want the hatch off of it?

hey what were you looking to get off it just motor tranny n exhaust? i can do it in my garage if my buddys down to do it to. we can do it cheap for like 250 - 300 but it would have to be in like a week or two were finishing his rb25 swap first. if ur interested pm me.

Seems totally pointless to salvage whats left of it unless you do it yourself, Your really going to end up losing out on more, Unless car was mint and very low kms on engine or what not, Id say best bet is to sell as parts car

I would love to sell it as an entire set, as listed in the parts for sale section. It’d actually save time and money and I’m willing to have it towed if it’s a reasonable distance from the collision center. ie. anywhere around markham or scarborough.
re: Wongger
The sr was undamaged/untouched in the accident, and still still starts up. I was t-boned by a 09’ grand caravan whom I guess didn’t try to break, from the lack of skid marks at the accident scene. I could just be speculating though. Basically the passenger side is crushed in from the door to the rear quarter. I’ll get pics of how bad it was, but just to give you an idea, the passenger seat was/had folded in half.

i could prob hold onto it for u for about a week n a half or so after everything that you want off the car is off. i would do it in my house garage i have everything there but a full car hoist.
