Okay so PAS MAG finally came through on the banner exchange, and this is what we could potentially get:
2 year subscriptions for $20, a current issue and a free PASMAG T Shirt for all SON Members.
We’ve had their banner on for almost a year now, and the will put ours up soon.
What do you guys think?

It’s a good mag to flip through … good pictures to look at.
All their reviews seem to be ‘GREAT PRODUCT … 10/10’ but that’s my only complaint.
I guess I vote yes. $20 subscription don’t sound bad

No t-shirt, no banner on their site, and free subscription for 2 years?
Free is good.
But yeah, that deal sounds reasonable.

And as for the $20 for 2 years subscription, they offer $10 for a 1 year subscription at all the shows they go to and give 1 or 2 free magazines upon sgining.
I wouldn’t really consider this to be a great deal. The only added benefit we are getting are the T-shirts, which I am sure they offer in some other promotion.
I say we push for 1 year free subscription for members, that is only 4 magazines… and they save by keeping the t-shirts.

I have a subscription already to there mag. It comes out every other month. I got it at DX1 last year it came with 2mags and a t-shirt for $10.

ok if any of you guys have read the group buy post for SCN you know that i work for them, and that im slightly biased… but i also have the “lo down” on the magazine scene, so heres the straight goods…
that isnt any sort of special deal. this weekend i was in Edmonton working the Sport Compact Nights car show tour, and they had 2 year subs plus a signed poster of some chick for $20 bucks.
they give ads away free in exchange for free parts so all the stuff in the mag is “great” and “amazing”… its got great pictures, but its a magazine for ricers, not JDM tyte 240 heads like us.
if you want a deal from them you can do better than that. a t-shirt to them costs like 2 bucks to make, its not anything special…
their idea of a tech article is installing neon liscence plate frames, and they dont even have a project car (starting in the next SCN we’ll have a 240 project car).
check my group buy out for SCN, you wont have time to flip through pas once you get a hold of SCN, theres just too much in depth content! 8)
