# Passenger-well Lighting Dead

My mechanic during his tests etc etc. took out my ECU (and the panel w/ the light around it). Now the passenger footwell light does not work (this bothers me for some reason).

Swapping the bulbs did not work, because I quickly noticed that it appears there should be a harness attaching to the bulb housing in the plastic ECU cover (not connected!).

Problem is, I cannot find this “harness” or connector anywhere…could it have been pinned behind the ECU unit or am I just way off track?

Anyone done this a million times on an S13?! Thanks! 🙂

Yeah it hangs down from the main harness which runs up higher in the  
dash. Just look around the area, and you will see it… its possible its stuck  
behind the ECU.

You have nothing to worry about, I doubt your mechanic cut the harness  
off :lol:
