So I sold my Iphone on ebay the sale went ok until of course the payment was made. It shows an “on hold” status as far as the payment and says ship now. Also the buyer asked for the phone to be overnighted. I called paypal to ask wtf is going on they tell me I have to ship the item in order for the funds to be released. Something doesnt sound right here??? Anyone else have this issue?? ---

IDK…but it sounds fishy. Cell phone sales on ebay are a huge controversy right now (google it). Companies are going out and setting up fake accounts to bid up others auctions so theirs close at a reasonable price. Whats the feedback score of the winner? ---

i have never heard of it being ON HOLD like that and i have had over 560+ deals thru ebay & paypal…that’s weird ---

Paypal may be using new sales policies where it holds the money until you confirm shipping so that you don’t rip people off after they pay you in Paypal. I have never seen it in the numerous Paypal deals I’ve done, but it has been awhile. ---

I’d be scared but hmm if you called Paypal and they instructed you do it? But yet again they’re overseas, barely speaking English, and would never take fault for something like that if it was indeed a scam. ---

Anyone else have this issue?? save your self the trouble and just give me the i phone…you loss wil be atleast someone else gain that you will kow will befit from it… rather then it being resold for your lost profit
