Who cares what it looks like? All the artists’ renditions make it look like a pleasant parkway to drive on, when in reality it’ll just be full of idling semi’s anyhow. Right? ---

Exactly why I could care less about it. It’s a damn bridge. People won’t come to Buffalo for tourism for a simple suspension bridge that has been seen all over the place. ---

Just another example of everyone in Buffalo trying to put the cart before the horse. “OMG we need a good public transportation system!” We don’t have a traffic problem. :squint: “OMG we need a beautiful bridge!” For primarily commercial traffic? :squint: “OMG we need to preserve our past!” At the expense of our future? :squint: ---

ok i may sound retarded because i don’t drive on it a lot but what is wrong with the one now? all i see when i drive past is it what people keep pointing out: a bridge packed with commercial traffic. ---

Yep, a Bridge packed with mainly commercial traffic with endless lines that will still be there with a fancy new bridge because the DoHS will still understaff the border crossings so inspection bays will STILL be empty.
