You should get a wheel made with a custom offset of +70, it’s the sunken battleship stance!

The event was not, the fact that he used it in a joke, is.
Take it as you may I don’t think it shows a lack of respect for the events that transpired at Pearl Harbor, and only a tightwad asshole would.

no someone with any sense of pride in their country and someone who has seen the USS Arizona, someone who has seen the results of what that attack did. ive been to Hiroshima, ive seen the nuclear blasted impressions on the walls. i might be a tightwad for being offended. does it make it right to say it or joke about it, not at all, thats on thr same lines as joking about 9-11 and the WTC’s.

Who/What is joking about it hurting though? You’ve ever laugh at a joke about the holocaust?
I honestly do have immense respect for the people who fought and died for our country, likewise for any innocent people killed in attacks on our country/people of our country. I just don’t see anything wrong with ‘making fun’ of a serious topic.

i might make a jew reference, about being cheap, but i never use the holocaust as a subject for a laugh. i have many Jewish friends and have met holocaust survivors. genocide, mass murder, terrorist attacks are no laughable matter in any arena. what we did to Japan as a counter to the attacks to Pearl Harbor at the time seemed rational, but something of that calibre would never go down these days. the infiltration techniques are far superior to the days of 1945… less destruction with greater results are the goal. id love to hear someone make a joke about pearl harbor around this old marine i know( WW2 Veteran) he might be old but i gaurantee he knocks you out.

Depends on the joke, I’m sure. I wouldn’t go up to that guy and say ‘knock knock whos there it’s the japanese we just blew up your battleship lol’
That, of course would be in very bad taste, but it’s not like you couldnt make light of ANYTHING that happened that day, I don’t think Steve’s ‘joke’ was in poor taste at all, all I’m saying.
