pedialyte works wonders, also the gatorade endurance formulas if you can find them. both rehydrate you good. ---

Pedialyte is basically gatorade for babies. When I was a pharm tech, the pharmacists always recommended it for people who had the shits and/or were puking because it will rehydrate you faster than water like gatorade but is less harsh on the stomach since it’s formulated for babies. IIRC pedialyte has lower concentrations of sodium and sugar. So yeah, drink it. If you shit and puke too much you’ll get overly dehydrated and have to go to the hospital for IV fluids. On a related note, I went to that new Mexican place at NFB and Sheridan. El Palenque or something? It’s where Denny’s used to be. I thought it was really good, but it turned out to be so authentic that it came with Montezuma’s Revenge. I had the shits all day the next day. :tdown: ---

It doesn’t rehydrate anything “quicker.” It just replenishes important electrolyes (potassium, magnesium, calcium, sodium, etc.) that are necessary for various neurological functions, among other things. Babies are particularly prone to water poisoning. ---
