i went to walmart last night just to check out the new MEGA walmart in hamburg, and to look at the people $75 later… i have a bunch of food, a shower caddy thing and a new cute little cabinet for my bathroom :bloated: honestly, i dont know how anything else will survive in the burg. everything there is so cheap. newman, that hummus you like so much, the tribal or whatever… its $1.92. cait bought 3 of them ---

New walmarts often use predatory pricing where they actually sell shit at a loss for awhile to drive competitors out of business, particularly in small towns. They had a lawsuit where they sent their uniformed employees into other stores to write down prices on everything, then undercut them. ---

Yeah, that’s more of a practice in rural areas as opposed to the suburbs. Towns that aren’t big enough to support two big box stores so they go out of their way to be the first one in. Their focus on country people is where a lot of peopleofwalmart comes from. ---
