Then you pretty much proved my point. If your neighbor painted his house flourescent orange, you would want some sort of ordinance in your town to tell him he had to repaint it something normal right?

Like most of these ordinances, it’s a balance between giving people the freedom to do what they want with their property and wanting to keep assholes from being completely inconsiderate of their neighbors and neighborhood.

Back to the original article, the only problem I have with it is the money grubbing assholes are charging for the permit.
