# personalized plates

im thinkin of gettin one for my car. when i lived in va i wanted to get one for my truck and online you could type in what you wanted the plate to say and it would tell you if it was taken already or not. i tried searchin today but i came up empty handed. is there a site like that for pa?

for some reason I want to say its on the Pen Dot website but like hidden so to speak…

vanity plates can be cool, but it also makes you easily identifiable to the po-po.

i called the penndot driving center in uniontown, pa and they gave me an 1-800 number. when you call you can speak with someone and you can tell them your choices, they will let you know if it’s available. if it is you’ll have to send in the application for the plate and money asap. ( before it’s taken ) Good luck

use a lot of 0’s and d’s harder to actually get a good id on the plate

I saw a guy w/ a Wrangler with one of those plates on Three Degree Road in North Hills. When a car is doing 45+ mph, it’s nearly impossible to read “1I11I1I”… I couldn’t do it.
